Depression really doesn't have to be forever

One of the major problems with depression is the tendency for it to be self cycling... but it doesn't have to be that way.

BrainWorking Recursive Therapy – BWRT – has successfully helped thousands of people to find a happier life since the specialised depression therapy was launched in 2018.

We use a deep mind technique to first of all weaken its invisible grip before seeking to completely release it. And in many cases it is then gone completely and forever.

Since its launch in 2013, BWRT has consistently amazed therapists around the world with its speed and effectiveness and is in use by psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists and psychiatrists in Europe, Asia, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and its country of origin, the United Kingdom.

BWRT works with the two main types of depression

Reactive Depression

Reactive depression is generally triggered by something happening that you really didn’t want to happen, or something you really wanted to happen that has just not worked out as you planned.

It can be caused by a broken relationship, grief, career or family problems, financial difficulties, or it might even be the case that you have no idea what caused it – you just know you didn’t always have it and it has somehow or another crept up on you almost before you realised it.

Sometimes you might feel that you have actually got over whatever caused it in the first place and yet it still hangs on, stubbornly refusing to give way even a little.

BWRT can help with all this!

Clinical Depression

Clinical depression was once known as melancholia before being renamed to ‘endogenous depression’, then officially gaining its current title in 1980. The term ‘endogenous’ means it is considered that the cause is somehow within or part of the body.

It is important to be aware that this does not suggest that it is ‘incurable’ – even when it is classified as ‘Major Depression’ – it just means that there appears to be no evidently identifiable origin or cause.

It can have lasted as long as you can remember, but it is extremely unlikely that you were born with it, nor even with, as some might claim, a predisposition towards it.

BWRT has frequently helped with this!

You can find happy!

Although it might seem impossible right now, BWRT could help you be free from depression faster than you think...

Many BWRT practitioners have completed a specialist course to work with depression and you certainly will not be ‘stuck in therapy for years’ – and a good few people start to feel the benefits almost immediately.

BWRT is not ‘just another therapy’ that is similar in some way to the older styles of working such as counselling, CBT, Hypnotherapy, EMDR, EFT or any of the other ‘solution focused’ models of working. It works in a fully structured manner that is based solidly in neuroscience, and has become an entire therapy system in its own right, rather than an ‘add on’ to older methods.

The BWRT Practitioner, privacy and confidentiality

BWRT practitioners are professional therapists required by our strict ethical code to maintain total confidentiality. They are guaranteed to be non-judgmental and completely understanding of the fact that nobody can control what they think or how they feel, only how they react to such thoughts or feelings.

The BWRT ethos is that the wellbeing of the client is paramount and the Practitioner will endeavour to ensure a constancy of demeanour, and diligent application of their skills, in the pursuit of that wellbeing.
