The Therapy Session
What happens in a session

Online
BWRT therapy for depression works every bit as well online as it does in a face-to-face session, and you don’t even have to be on video, so you don’t need to get ‘all dressed up’ if you don’t feel like it (though many still do, even for an online session).
The practitioner will ask you a few questions, not too many, and if there’s something you need to keep private that’s no problem. At BWRT we don’t go in for exploring every corner of your life since you were born! We only ask what we really need to know to help you get you better.
As with all BWRT therapy, the way we work with depression uses the latest research in neuroscience coupled with our unique structured session work, and the BWRT process is probably the most effective in the world for relieving the majority of depression.

Face-to-Face
For some people, online sessions are not really suitable because of a lack of privacy and in those cases the answer is to find a practitioner near enough for you to travel to.
The therapy will be identical, except for the physical prsence of the therapist and, again, you will not have to discuss anything that you would rather keep to yourself – though you might need to hold it in your thoughts for a few seconds, without saying anythiing.
BWRT is interactive whether you are working online or in person; you cannot sit back and just let the practitioner do all the work – the therapies that work like that are usually not very reliable, and so might not work for long, if at all. It’s true that there’s not a therapy in the worl that works for every one every time – but BWRT comes close!
Some people think that BWRT sounds too good to be true – well, we admit that it certainy does give that impression! But the facts show that it is exactly what it says it is. The concept was rigorously tested for over two-and-a-half years from May 2011 to October 2013 when it was taught for the very first time. And the results it was getting astonished seasoned practitioners, including clinical pyshcologists and psychiatrists, right from the beginning. Since then, millions of lives all around the world have been changed, always for the better.
Many of our practitioners have completed a specialist training in the subject and techniques of working with many different forms of depression, and you will find them listed on our professionals site by selecting ‘Depression’ from the ‘Select Difficulty’ dropdown.
